Food & Drink
Ring O Bells
A well-stocked bar, small but perfectly formed wine list, a compact menu that changes regularly.
You will feel equally comfortable sitting at the bar with a pint and the papers as sitting down to a refined three course meal in the restaurant.
'Service is just as important as the food', says Binka. You will find a relaxed & professional atmosphere in The Ring of Bells. We serve 2 real ales that change regularly, predominately from South West Breweries. We believe in offering good quality ingredients, cooked well, with flair & intrigue.
The Agricultural Inn

Wine & Cider Tasting
Rull Orchard
Rull Orchard is the brain child of Mike and his handy helper Claire. The process of starting a cidery has evolved into a project of permaculture to encourage the natural biodiversity of the site and to grow ourselves as many of the ingredients for our products as we can. Mike worked in demolition for 20 years but one autumnal morning helping a friend collect apples in a small local orchard he had a reawakening. He no longer wanted to destroy but to create, Claire has applied her technical skills and eye for detail and together they make a brilliant team.
Sandford Orchard
Founded in 2002, we are independent, family owned and very proud to be based in the oldest working cider mill in the UK, breathing life back into the old building.
Our home, in the heart of Devon, is the perfect micro-climate to grow cider apples and we are blessed with some of the finest bittersweet apple orchards in the world.
Since Barny started making cider in his shed we’ve grown quite considerably but our approach has always been the same, as we pride ourselves on making cider the right way.
Kenton Park Estate
All of our Tasting Tours have been created to provide a very personal experience for you. It's not like booking onto a large group tour, we will run a tour with as little as 2 people. Each of our tours below includes the tasting of 4 of our sparkling wines, all al fresco in the vineyard, exploring the different plantations and overlooking some spectacular views of the Devon countryside. We'll also try our artisan sparkling cider in the orchard as well as getting to meet the Estate's animals including rare breed Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep and our cheeky pygmy goats.
Micro Breweries
Halons Brewery
Since 1995 Hanlons has been brewing some of the best craft beers around but from the humble foundations in London and with the influence of its Irish founders Hanlons brewery has changed significantly in its time.
After working with the farmers producing the organic hemp and having every step of the process tested we now have a fully traceable – organic – natural – amazing taste “Beer with Benefits”!!!
Exe Valley Brewery
Our brewery is nestled on a hill overlooking the beautiful Exe Valley and we feel very lucky to have some of the best views in Devon (in our humble opinion at least.)
The building is a converted cow shed, and while it isn’t shiny and modern, has everything we need to make great beer.
We love sharing our passion for beer, not to mention the delicious beer itself with people, and can host people in a number of ways.
Taw Valley Brewery
Small-batch cask conditioned ale from a medieval thatched threshing barn in mid-Devon.
Born from crystal clear Taw Valley spring water drawn from our well. Brought to life with locally grown floor-malted barley, generous helpings of mostly traditional English hops and a passion for great tasting craft beer.
