On the Water

Sailing

Wimbleball Sailing Club is a friendly family club open to all, providing dinghy sailing, racing and RYA sail training. We are located at Wimbleball Lake, a large reservoir of 385 acres on the east side of Exmoor National Park, a short drive from Minehead, Tiverton, Taunton and Wellington.

Wimbleball is one of the most beautiful inland sailing locations in the country. It is a popular venue for visiting clubs and class association meetings - you are welcome to compete in our regular Sunday races, or we can organise racing on Saturdays and bank holidays as required.

Canoeing

Have you ever fancied trying Paddle Boarding or kayaking? We believe almost anyone can have a go and we would love to introduce you to either of these fantastic activities.

All our Paddle Boarding and Kayaking sessions are run as exclusive sessions so that you can get the most from your time with us on the water.

Each session is tailored to you, so you can progress at a speed that suits you.

Games and fun activities can be added so you won't even realise you are learning. Why not start with a Paddle Boarding or Kayaking session in Bude on Bude’s Sea Pool and then move onto a trip further afield.
